Eight is Gonna Be Great!

Today, June 11th,  my sweet, sweet girl is eight months old! I am so excited because I know this summer is going to bring a ton of fun changes for her - crawling, talking and walking! We might be doomed with all this mobility, but we are going to have fun while we're at it!

E has been really busy this month:
She took her first face-first dive in the bathtub, but wasn't the least bit upset.
She rolled from her back to her belly.
She spent her first night in a hotel in Sacramento the night before Aunt S graduated from college.
She attended (and behaved) at college graduation ceremonies for Aunt S and Uncle T.
She ate dinner in a high chair at a restaurant for the first time.
She fits into six month clothes.
She started rolling onto her stomach and side while sleeping.
She took her first family vacation to the Colorado River, outside of Laughlin, Nev.
She took her first boat ride, I think she liked it, but she definitely HATED the life jacket.
She cut her first tooth.
You love being held, but are also very comfortable playing independently.
Most miraculous of all, she took her first wobbly crawling 'steps' on Skype with Nana and Grandpa. I still can't get over the fact that they witnessed such a thrilling moment with us! It was second best to having them in the living room with us.

We are loving E more and more everyday. J commented the other day how much he loves seeing her personality develop. She is still the happiest baby on the planet, smiling all the time. But she is developing a sense of humor and a profound sense of curiosity, which means we have to be one step ahead as she becomes more mobile.
